Remember to Vote Tomorrow

Kevin Surbaugh

Tuesday, November 7 is election day.  A handful of people turned out for advance voting on Saturday, however, voting was very light.  It is a fact that local voting is historically the lowest turnout of any election, even though local governments could have the most impact on our daily lives.   Local leaders across the state are encouraging residents in city and school board districts alike to turn out in big numbers on Tuesday and vote for their neighbors who will be elected to represent them.
One Baldwin City resident, who voted this past Saturday said, "Let's be proud and vote for what matters to us this year.  Don't let a small minority chose for us."
